Who we are

Niffy Hair & Beauty is a professional hair care service provider located in Romford, East London. Our salon provides hair care services for individuals with Afro and Caribbean hair types.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user-agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address, also called a hash, may be provided to the Gravatar service to see whether you use it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at automattic.com/privacy. After approval of your comment, your profile picture may be visible publicly in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment, you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so you do not have to fill in your details again when leaving another comment. These cookies last for one year.

If you visit our login page, a temporary cookie may be set to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, cookies may also be set to save login information and screen-display choices. Login cookies last for two days and screen-option cookies for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. Logging out removes the login cookies.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie may be saved in your browser. It contains no personal data, identifies the article post and expires after one day.

Articles may include embedded content such as videos, images or articles. Embedded content behaves in the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website.

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely so follow-up comments can be recognised and approved automatically.

For users who register on the website, if any, we store the personal information provided in their user profile. Users can see, edit or delete their personal information at any time, except their username. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data held about you, including data you provided. You can also request the erasure of personal data held about you. This does not include data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Where your data is sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam-detection service.
